Thanks for your interest in banking with TD, Fernando! We'd be glad to help!
In order to open an individual Checking account with TD Bank, you must be at least 18 years of age. As you mentioned that you are under the age of 18, we do ask that an adult accompanies you at one of our nearby TD Bank Stores to open a joint Checking account. For help locating a TD Store near you, please visit: http://bit.ly/TDStores.
We invite you to take a look at our many different types of Checking accounts here: http://bit.ly/1aDaRqd or check out our Checking Selector Tool here http://bit.ly/KmmHe7 for help choosing a Checking account that is the best fit for you.
To take a look here http://bit.ly/1hzzhPT for more detailed information on each particular Savings account available. You may also find it helpful to check out our customized Savings Selector Tool, found here: http://bit.ly/1sxY9Rd.
Please kindly keep in mind that both of you and your joint account holder will need to provide a valid form of identification such as Driver's License, Passport, Military I.D. etc. and Social Security Number. As you are a minor, acceptable forms of identification for minors includes; School ID (preferably with a picture), Passport, US Birth Certificate or Social Security Card.
If you have any additional questions or concerns, please feel free to contact us 24/7 at 888-751-9000.
