Thank you for considering TD, Jaquece! We are happy to point you in the right direction, with all the information you need for opening an account.
TD Bank is proud to offer Store locations from Maine to Florida. However, it is not necessary to live within the TD Bank footprint in order to open an account with us.
If you don't currently live in a state with a TD Bank Store, we recommend giving us a call 24/7 at 1-888-751-9000 to speak with one of our dedicated Banking Specialist. They will be more than happy to help you establish your account by phone. For Store locations and lobby hours near you please check out: http://bit.ly/TDStores.
Please review the convenient account types we currently offer on our website to find accounts which best suit you. To view and compare our checking accounts, visit http://bit.ly/1aDaRqd or check out our Checking Selector Tool http://bit.ly/1vW1xnU for help selecting a checking account that is the best fit you. To view and compare savings account products, click on http://bit.ly/1pJT9I9, or if you prefer, we also have a Savings Selector Tool http://bit.ly/1vW1DvM which can help you choose the best savings account for your needs.
If you are able to verify an address within our footprint, you are also welcome to use our website for the account opening process. You can open the account after choosing your account above by clicking on the "Open Account" box, which will be listed at the bottom of each account's details.
To begin the account application, you'll need your Social Security number, and a valid personal identification such as a Driver's license, State ID, or Passport.
If you open your account online, you can make your first deposit using a debit card linked to an account from another financial institution or a credit card (Visa or MasterCard). If you open the account by phone, your representative will be happy to provide convenient deposit options.
We hope this information is helpful, Jaquece. We hope you have a wonderful week!
