I would like to open a joint checking account in New Jersey. Can the other account holder sign a signature card in Maryland?

Thanks for visiting TD Helps, Joseph.
We appreciate your interest in an account with us however; in order to open a joint account both parties would have to visit a TD location together to fill out and sign the proper paperwork. We apologize if this causes any inconvenience. For a listing of our Stores and their hours please check out: http://bit.ly/TDStores.
Have a nice afternoon Joseph and enjoy your weekend.
