Thank you for considering TD Bank, Debbie and we're happy to give you some options on how to open an account without a Social Security number.
If you're not a United States citizen or resident at this time, don't worry as you're still welcome to open an account with us! To open an account, you'll just need to visit us at a TD Bank Store. If you're in the US right now, for hours and locations take a look here: http://bit.ly/TDStores.
We encourage you to review the different types of accounts we offer so that you can find one you like. To view and compare our checking accounts, visit: http://bit.ly/1aDaRqd or check out our Checking Selector Tool: http://bit.ly/1vW1xnU for help selecting a checking account that is the best fit for you. To view and compare savings account products, click on: http://bit.ly/1pJT9I9, or if you prefer, we also have a Savings Selector Tool: http://bit.ly/1vW1DvM which can help you choose the best savings account for your needs.
Once you are ready to visit a Store, as a non-US Resident you will need to bring two forms of identification with you. One form of ID must be a valid non-US Passport or Visa with photo and the second form of valid ID you may select from the list below:
- Employment ID with Photo and Signature
- State Issued ID or Driver's License with Signature
- Foreign Driver's License with Photo
- US Employment Authorization card with Photo, Signature and Expiration Date
- College ID with Photo
- Alien Registration Card with Photo
- Permanent Resident Card with Photo
Thanks again for considering us, Debbie and we hope this is helpful. Please let us know what else we can tell you about our services! Take care.
