Thank you for considering TD Bank for your banking needs, Spencer.
In order to obtain a TD debit card, you will need to open a TD Checking account. To do so, the individual must be at least 18 years of age. As you mentioned that you're currently under the age of 18, we do ask that an adult accompanies you at one of our nearby TD Bank Stores, during lobby hours to open a joint account. For help locating a TD Store near you, please visit: http://bit.ly/TDStores.
Both of the adult and you will need to provide a valid form of identification such as Driver's License, Passport, Military I.D. etc. and Social Security number. As a minor, acceptable forms of identification for minors includes; School ID (preferably with a picture), Passport, US Birth Certificate or Social Security Card. We also encourage you to review our Checking Accounts here: http://bit.ly/1oXjGgF, or use our Checking Account Selector at: http://bit.ly/1vW1xnU to find an account which suits his needs.
Please also know that a Visa Debit Card can be issued for a minor at the parent's consent and Store manager's discretion.
Let us know if you have additional questions for us, Spencer. Hope to meet you soon!
