Want to be able to limit/monitor spending on a debit card for a business account and adjust the limit occasionally if needed.

Welcome to TD Helps and thank you for sending us your question, Trent.
As long as you are an Authorized Signer on your account, you may request to lower or decrease the different limits set on your debit card or your employees' cards (as non-Signers). Although we don't offer monthly limits, we are more than happy to explain how to request a decrease to the standard daily limit on a card.
To permanently adjust the limits on an ATM or debit card, we kindly ask that you step inside your nearest TD Bank Store to process this request. There, as an Authorized Signer on the account, they will have you complete a form to be able to reduce the daily spending/withdrawal limits for the cards of any cardholder who is not a signer. If you do decide to permanently lower the limit on a card, please know that at any time you can raise the limits for a single day by sending us a request via fax or Secure Message if a large transaction needs to be made.
You can send a faxed request to our Fulfillment Team at 856-533-1138. Or, you can log in to your TD Bank online account at http://bit.ly/1eaISlq, or http://bit.ly/1rvBmq8 if you are a BusinessDirect user, and use the Send a Message link after clicking the Customer Service tab. With either fax or secure message, please include the following information:
• Subject: Limit Decrease
• Account Number
• Debit/ATM Card Number
• Your Name (as well as the name of the cardholder if different)
• Contact Telephone Number
• Please include the phrase: 'Please decrease my total daily Visa (or POS or ATM) limit to $X for the day.'
• Your Signature (for the fax option only)
You may also stop by your local TD Bank Store during lobby hours for assistance in increasing any daily limits. Please use the Store locator provided above to find the closest one to where you're at. Please note, limit increases/decreases sent via fax or secure email are temporary and are only effective on the business day they were requested.
