Can I provide a fingerprint in order to update my inactive bank account to an active status if I can't provide valid id? Time is an issue here. Thanks for any help you can give me in this matter.

Thanks for reaching out to us with a great question, Cindy!
At this time, we do not maintain fingerprints that we can use for identification.
In order to have access to an account you hold with us, we do generally require some form of photo ID. This doesn't necessarily need to be a driver's license or state ID. We also accept other forms of ID, such as passports or military IDs. We can also accept some college IDs, birth certificates, work IDs, and city IDs, but you may need to provide more than one of these. There may additional accepted documents.
We recommend reaching out to the Store you intend to visit to confirm if the forms of ID you currently have will be sufficient for account access. To find a Store near you, along with their hours and contact info, please click here: https://go.td.com/1nq31dc.
We look forward to talking with you soon. Have a wonderful weekend, Cindy!
