Good morning, Vandy, and welcome to TD Helps!
This is a great question, and we'll be more than happy to help.
If you are using TD Bank Business Direct for your business' online access, we're happy to announce that you are able to set up a separate username for your accountant! In fact, as the business owner, you should also be able to designate exactly what they can see and do when they access the account. Those restrictions are completely up to you!
If you're not already enrolled in Business Direct, it can be done in any of our Store locations or by clicking here: https://go.td.com/1dl2HX6. To enroll online, you'll need your business and personal info, your Social Security or Tax Identification number as well as your account number from one of our business checking or savings accounts. An email will be sent to you within 2 business days with your initial username and password.
If you're already set up with TD Bank Business direct, or have gotten yourself enrolled, login by clicking here: https://go.td.com/1rvBmq8. Once logged in, select the 'Users' tab. On the menu to the left you'll see a hyperlink that says 'Add a New User'. Click this link. You'll need to input a username, password, and your office manager's name, phone number, and email address. You'll then see a drop down menu that says 'Role'. Click the hyperlink next to it that says 'View the roles you can assign'. This will open a new window that will allow limiting access if necessary. You'll choose a name for the role and select the options that the office manager can have access to. Once you click 'Assign these permissions' it should populate into the drop down menu on the previous screen. Then click 'Add User', verify all information is correct and you're all set!
If you have problems in setting this up, or any questions at all, please don't hesitate to give our Small Business Banking Team a call, 24/7, at 800-493-7562, option 2, or stop in to see us at one of our Stores! To find one near you, please click here: https://go.td.com/1nq31dc.
We sincerely hope this helps clear up any confusion, Vandy. Have an amazing rest of your day!
