We appreciate you coming to TD Helps for assistance today, Shimrit.
It's great to hear that you're interested in using your TD Bank deposit account again, and we'll be more than happy to help!
While you're more than welcome to either initiate a deposit or withdrawal into your TD Bank account at any time, it's important to note that as you mentioned you haven't used your account in two years, the status of your account may have changed to either inactive, or dormant.
Here at TD Bank, generally speaking, a Checking or Money Market account is changed to an 'Inactive' status after six months of no activity, while a Savings account is changed to an inactive status after nine months of no activity. After this time period, the account may change to a 'Dormant' status.
While we would like to confirm the current status of your account, please understand that TD Helps is not considered secure, and so that we may better assist you, we'd like to recommend that you visit your nearest TD Store location. By doing so, one of our knowledgeable Customer Service Representatives will be happy to assist you with your account, during lobby hours, and can even help by ensuring that your account becomes 'Active' again.

We look forward to hearing from you soon, Shimrit.
Take care, and we hope you have a safe and happy holiday!

Hi, i see you say, "a Checking or Money Market account is changed to an 'Inactive' status after six months of no activity".
what kind activity that you call "activity?
If I use my account to pay paypal, ebay, then every month there will be automatic transfer between my account Checking (td bank) and my Saving account (td bank) auto-transfer..
could this be called activity?
