Thank you for reaching out to us on TD Helps, Raven. We'd be happy to help.
At this time, we are unable to block specific transaction types in regards to your debit card as you're able to use it anywhere Visa is accepted worldwide, including online.
If you prefer to not make transactions with your debit card online and at store locations, you are able to request an ATM only card for your Checking account rather than a debit card. Please know that an ATM only card cannot be used to make purchases and can only be used at an ATM.
You're able to request this card type in a variety of ways. If you're near a TD Bank Store, we'd be more than happy to make you a new card on the spot! Feel free to check out http://bit.ly/TDStores for a listing of hours and locations near you.
If you are unable to visit us during lobby hours, you may also contact us 24/7 at 888-751-9000 and upon account verification we'll be able to mail you a new card. You should expect to receive your new card within 7-10 business days. Please note, delays may occur depending on your Postal Office.
If you have TD Bank Online Banking you have the option of sending us a secure message to request a new card. If you have not enrolled, you can do so by following this link: http://bit.ly/1lU2qfY. You will need your account number, Social Security number, your email address and your current TD ATM/debit card. Since you do not have the card handy, we ask that you give us a call 24/7 at the number provided above to speak with our Banking Specialists. After you've successfully enrolled, to send secure messages please select the "Customer Service" tab and under "Message Center" please click on the "Send a Message" link. For this particular request, please select the "General Customer Service" for the subject line. In the "Comments/Requests" field, please type in your request.
We hope this helps, Raven and enjoy your day.
