Great question, Prete and thanks for reaching out to us!
We do provide the option for TD Customers and non-Customers to order foreign currency at any TD Bank location, including British Pounds. Some of our Stores may also keep a supply of this type of currency on hand, and we'd recommend calling your local Store to determine if they do. If not, when placing an order, please allow two business days before returning to obtain your cash.
Please check out http://bit.ly/TDStores to learn more about our locations and lobby hours. You're also welcome to obtain an exchange rate when you visit a Store. Or, to receive the latest exchange rates for currency conversions, please call TD International Services at 888-BNG-INTL (888-264-4685) or you can send them an email by visiting here: http://bit.ly/1pvwJIu. Please note that there may be fees associated with foreign currency conversions and for more information visit http://bit.ly/1cTejgt.
Also, if you plan to take a trip, we recommend placing a Travel Notification on your account before you leave. You can do so by calling our Customer Service Line at 888-751-9000 or when you stop in at your local Store. If you're enrolled in Online Banking, you may also send a Secure Message after logging in to your account there. Please request that a travel notification be added to your account by providing the dates and locations you'll visit.
Hope this helps, Prete! If you'll be traveling, have a great and safe trip!
