Thanks for your message on TD Helps today, Hassan! We'll be glad to chat with you about wire transfers.
First, we'd like to let you know that in order to initiate a wire transfer from your TD Bank account, it would be necessary to visit any TD Bank Store for assistance and we apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. With that being said, you are more than welcome to contact your Home Store to determine if they can offer you any alternative, given your current location in Cairo. For a listing of all of our Stores, please visit http://bit.ly/TDStores. You can also review additional information on sending international wires at http://bit.ly/1oowsYN.
Since we know that you're located outside of the U.S. right now, we'd like to provide a few possibilities for sending the funds from there. First, if your TD Bank account is a joint account, any owner may visit us at a Store to initiate the wire, if one of you is currently located in the U.S. As another option, you may wish to deposit a check from your TD Bank account to a local account you have there, and then send your wire from that account if it's still necessary. Or, feel free to withdraw funds either via ATM or by Visa Cash Advance using your TD Bank Visa Debit card, and then deposit these to a local account. Again, after doing so you may initiate a wire from your bank there if needed.
If you may opt to withdraw funds using either an ATM or a cash advance, please note that daily limits on our Visa Debit cards are $750.00 for ATM withdrawals, and $5,000.00 for cash advances. For additional info, please take a look here: http://bit.ly/1kb17UQ on pages 43-44 or, for business accounts, view this link: http://bit.ly/1BZrpmM on pages 38-39.
If you are expecting to withdraw more than what is permitted on your daily limit, we can offer a couple of options to request an increase. Please note, in order to have your debit card limit increased you must have a deposit account older than 90 days that is in Normal status and have a sufficient balance to cover the requested amount.
To increase one of the limits on your Visa Ddebit card, you can send us a written request via fax or Secure Message. You can send the fax to our Fulfillment Team at 856-533-1138, or please log in to your TD Bank Online account at http://bit.ly/1eaISlq or http://bit.ly/1rvBmq8 for BusinessDirect and use the Send a Message link after clicking the Customer Service tab. With either method, please include the following information:
• Subject: Limit Increase • Account Number • Debit/ATM Card Number • Your Name • Contact Telephone Number • A Statement indicating to 'Please increase my total daily Visa (or POS or ATM) limit to $X for the day.'• Your Signature (for the fax option only)
Please note, limit increases are temporary and the transaction must be completed the same day that the limit increase is granted. If you are interested in a permanent limit increase or decrease, you must visit your local TD Store location to make the request.
If you have any further questions, you may contact us from outside the United States via phone at 1-856-751-9000, or collect with operator assistance from a land line phone by asking the operator to dial 1-215-569-0518. For your convenience, we are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The US country code is 1-011.
We hope this provides some help, Hassan. Please let us know if you have other questions and all the best!
