Thank you for visiting us at TD Helps, Aryeh!
To initiate a domestic or international wire transfer from your account, you will need to visit a TD Bank Store. For hours and locations near you please take a look at: http://bit.ly/TDStores.
To send a domestic wire you will need the name, address and ABA routing number of the receiving bank, the name of the account to be credited, the beneficiary address and the account number.
To send an international wire all you need is:
· The full name, address, including city, state/province, country and account number of the person/business (for Euro Zone countries – IBAN – International Banking Account Number) you are sending money to
· The full name and address, including city, state/province and country of the financial institution receiving the funds
· The amount and currency of the transfer
Keep in mind also that depending on the currency you are sending, some transactions may take longer than others. You may want to contact the other financial institution to determine what information they require to receive the wire. Please see the link listed below for all applicable fees that may apply.
However, if you are looking to send funds domestically you may be able to use our Person-to-Person transfer feature via your Online Banking. This feature allows you to send money domestically to any account inside and outside TD Bank without having to visit a Store. To use this feature, you must be enrolled in Online Banking. If you have not enrolled in Online Banking yet, you can do so for free here: http://bit.ly/1lU2qfY. You will need your Social Security number, your TD Bank ATM/Visa Debit Card, your account number, and your e-mail address. If you do not have a debit or ATM card, please call our 24/7 Digital Specialist at 1-800-493-7562 to enroll. Once you’ve enrolled for Online Banking, select the “Person-to-Person” tab to enroll for this specific feature. For the Terms and Conditions in addition to information on the payment methods and amounts, please check http://bit.ly/1pADlWD.
Keep in mind that transfer fees may apply, for our fee schedule follow this link: http://bit.ly/1cTejgt. We would also recommend checking with the other financial institution to ensure no other additional information is required as well as to obtain information regarding any additional fees for their services. And please note that we do not process or disburse funds from wire transfers received designated Pay Upon Proper Identification (PUPID) and return them to the sender.
We hope this information was helpful, please let us know if you have any other questions, have a nice day, Aryeh!

How can I make an international transfer if I am already out of the country? I need to transfer money to a bank account in Europe, but can't go into a TD bank because I'm already out of the country. Is there anyway around this problem? Thanks

Thanks for joining in on the conversation, Malcolm. We are happy to point you in the right direction.
At this time in order to send an international wire from your TD Bank account to an account in Europe you must be present at your local TD Bank Store. Once present at the Store, please review the information below on how to send an international wire.
To send an international wire, you will need the full name, address (including City), State/Province, Country and account number of the person/business you are sending money to (for Euro Zone countries – IBAN – International Banking Account Number). You'd also need the full name and address, including City, State/Province and Country of the financial institution receiving the funds, plus of course the amount and currency of the transfer.
For more details on sending international wires, please visit http://bit.ly/1oowsYN . When you are ready to send your international wire transfer, you will need to provide the foreign bank our SWIFT address; which is NRTHUS33XXX, as well as obtain their SWIFT address, which you can obtain by contacting the institution directly. Click here: http://bit.ly/TDStores to find a TD Bank near you.
Thanks again for stopping by and take care.

Welcome to the conversation, Miguel. We apologize for any confusion and will be sure to guide you in the right direction today.
As mentioned in the previous replies, in order to send money internationally you must perform a wire transfer. The international wire transfer has to be initiated at a TD Bank location. If you are unable to visit us, we recommend reaching out to the financial institution in Ecuador for further assistance. We apologize for any inconvenience.
If you have any further questions or concerns, please contact us 24/7 at 888-751-9000 or visit your local TD Store. For Store hours and locations near you please visit http://go.td.com/ZCERQo.
Thanks for writing in, Miguel. We hope you have a great day.

I highly appreciate your answer Ms. Kris.
I want to transfer money from my bank account in Canada to the University of Bordeaux in France to pay my accommodation rent. You mean, I can go and ask the university of Bordeaux to give me wire or something like this? how can they take money from my account?
In fact, I am the one who want to pay. I should transfer money from my account not them? Am I right?
Please guide me, Thank you
