Can I send an ACH payment via online banking?
Interested in sending USD to a domestic USD account at a lower cost than a wire. The recipient said I could ACH to them. Please advise.

Thank you for reaching out to us, Beth. We are happy to point you in the right direction to make this payment.
Our Person-to-Person Payment service provides flexible ways to send and receive money to and from any other individual's bank account within the United States. It is simple and secure, with several delivery options. Please be advised that this service is only available via our full site at this time, not via our Mobile App.
In order to be eligible to use the Person-to-Person payment service, you must have a United States address, a unique United States phone number, a United States issued Social Security number and a valid unique email address. You must also be enrolled for Online Banking and be using a TD Bank Checking or Money Market account for the transfer. Please also note that Person-to-Person payment will only allow you to transfer funds from your TD Bank Account to any other individual's bank account within the United States.
If you have met all the requirements listed above and are also enrolled for online banking, you’ll need to be logged in to Online Banking from here http://bit.ly/1eaISlq in order to initiate a Person-to-Person payment:
- First, you must enroll in the service. To do so, you would select the tab that says Person-to-Person payments at the top of your Online Banking screen. - Then, you will be asked to accept a user agreement, review the fee schedule and confirm your email and phone number. A text and email code will be sent to the mobile number and email address we have on file for you. - Next we will request you to submit both codes for verification to complete the enrollment process.
You will have two delivery options when sending a Person-to-Person payment; there is the three business day option and the next business day delivery. Please note, the next day delivery option is not available for savings accounts. To qualify for the next day delivery option, you must wait 90 days from your first successful 3-day transfer and must not have had any transactions that overdrew your account in the past 90 days.
If you are not currently enrolled for Online Banking and wish to enroll for Online Banking for your Personal Checking account, you may use our self-service option by visiting http://go.td.com/1lU2qfY to begin the enrollment process. In order to do so, you will need your account number, TD Bank ATM/Debit Card, your Social Security Number and your email address. Once at the page, please select "Personal" from the drop down box. When you select continue, you will have to read and accept the Online Banking Service Agreement. Then you will be asked to enter your personal information including the items mentioned earlier and to create a user name and password. Finally you will be asked to create three security questions. When you finish the enrollment process, you will have immediate access to your account(s).
If you do not have the required information to set up for Online Banking or you need assistance enrolling, you may contact us 24/7 at 1-888-751-9000 to speak with a Banking Specialist. Upon proper account verification, we would be happy to help get you started.
Please note that there may be fees for the use of the above services. We invite you to take a look at our Fee Schedule here: http://go.td.com/1cTejgt.
We are always here to help, Beth. Please let us know if you have any additional concerns or questions.

Is there any way for me to transfer money from my TD Bank account to my account in another bank without being charged a fee by TD?

Thanks for joining in, Sim.
At this time moving funds online by using External Transfers applies a fee to your account. You are able to review this information here: http://go.td.com/1cTejgt.
There are instances in which your other financial institution is able to debit the funds you're looking to transfer. To learn if this is a service offered by your financial institution, we recommend reaching out to them directly.
If you have any further questions for us, feel free to call us 24/7 at 888-751-9000.
Thanks again for joining in, Sim. Have a good day.
