I am a Canadian and live in Florida for 6 months. I have a TD Bank account. I would like to send an etransfer to someone in the states. I am in Toronto, Canada now but I need to access my TD Account in the states to send an etransfer to the other person in the states, is that possible?

Good afternoon, Maureen, and thanks for coming to TD Helps today.
It sounds as if you are hoping to send a transfer from your TD Bank account in the United States, to a friend of yours who also lives in the United States. If this is the case, we'll be more than happy to help!
TD Bank currently offers a person to person transfer service, which we call Send Money. This service is completely free, and will allow you to either transfer funds to another person, or even request funds from them, right from your Online Banking! If you have never used this service before, don't worry, as we'll be happy to guide you.
You'll first want to log into your Online Banking, and you can use the link here: https://go.td.com/1eaISlq to do so. If you have never accessed your Online Banking for your account in the United States, you can start the enrollment process by clicking here: https://go.td.com/1lU2qfY. It's important to note that in order to complete the enrollment process; you will need your account number, debit card number, a valid U.S. email address, and a U.S. Social Security Number. If you do not have a Social Security Number in the United States, we invite you to contact a Tech Support Specialist at 800-493-7562, 24/7, so that we may assist you with completing the enrollment process.
Once you have fully logged into your account, towards the top of your screen, you should see a tab the reads 'Send Money'. If you have never used Send Money in the past, you will simply need to agree to any terms and conditions before you can proceed.
If you are adding a new payee, simply click on the link that reads 'Add New Contact' towards the center, right side of your page. From here, you can then enter in their first name, last name, and even a nickname, should you wish for them to appear this way under this feature. After this is completed, you will have the option of sending the funds to either their email, phone number, or even their account number with their own financial institution. Should you choose to send the funds to their account number, please know that you will also need their routing number. Should you select their phone number or email, they will receive a message with instructions on how to accept this transfer.
After you have entered in all their information, you will be able to save their information for the future, and then proceed to entering in the amount you wish to send, and from which account you want to send the funds from. If you currently have a debit card for your TD Bank account in the United States, you'll have the option to send your transfer instantly! If you don't have a debit card, don't worry, as you'll still be able to send your transfer standard, which will be delivered to your friend in 3 business days.
If you have any trouble at all setting up a Send Money transfer, feel free to contact us at the number above, and we'll be more than happy to help.
As a friend reminder, if you need to transfer funds from your TD Canada Trust account to your TD Bank account, you're always able to call a Cross Border Banking Specialist, 24/7, at 877-700-2913.
In the case that you were hoping to transfer funds from your TD Canada Trust account to a friend of yours in the United States, we invite you to contact TD Canada Trust directly for any options that you may have to do so. For your convenience, they can also be reached 24/7, at 1-866-222-3456.
