Hi Marisa, welcome to TD Helps!
We'd like to inform you that we have a completely free service, called Send Money. This service allows you to send money to anyone in the United States with a participating bank account.
In order for Send Money to work, both parties must have open and active accounts with open and active debit cards at one of the participating banks that use the clearXchange network. While TD Bank does use clearXchange, we do not have a list of the other financial institutions that use this service. We recommend reaching out to clearXchange or viewing their website for information on participating banks. You may also reach out to your other financial institution or the financial institution of the recipient to inquire into whether they use this service or not.
If you are not currently enrolled for online banking and wish to enroll for online banking for your personal accounts, you may use our self-service option by visiting http://bit.ly/1lU2qfY to begin the enrollment process. In order to do so, you will need your account number, TD Bank ATM/Debit Card, your Social Security Number and your email address. Once at the page, please select "Personal" from the drop down box. When you select continue, you will have to read and accept the Online Banking Service Agreement. Then you will be asked to enter your personal information including the items mentioned earlier and to create a user name and password. Finally you will be asked to create three security questions. When you finish the enrollment process, you will have immediate access to your account(s).

Once you are logged in to the app on your smartphone, please select the menu in the upper left corner, and then select 'Transfers'. You will then see the 'Send Money' button. You will need to enroll in Send Money, if this is your first time using this service. Once you have enrolled, you may add your contacts by selecting 'Settings', 'Contacts', and 'Add a New Contact'. Once you have your contact (s) added, you will be able to start sending money.
