Also, if I need to buy something for my son, I want to be able to transfer money from his savings account back to my checking account. Is this possible?

Great question, thanks for bringing it!
You would be more than welcome to set up a savings account for your son, and we're pleased to tell you that it can have all the features you mentioned in your message. When establishing a savings for a minor, typically you'll be listed as the account custodian, with your son as the beneficiary. You'll have control of the funds for transfers back and forth, with the funds in trust for him until he is no longer a minor. You'll also be able to have an ATM card for the account for ATM withdrawals, and you can access the account online for transfers.

If you choose to open an account for your son, feel free to stop in at any TD Bank Store location for assistance. Please keep in mind that a valid form of identification such as a State License, State ID or Passport will be needed by the parent or guardian to be listed on the account, as well as your Social Security number. Acceptable forms of identification for minors include a School ID (preferably with a picture), Passport, US Birth Certificate or Social Security card.
