Thank you for reaching out to us on TD Helps today, Wesley! We are more than happy to help.
Since you are writing into us from Toronto, you may be trying to reach our neighbors to the north at TD Canada Trust. Click here: http://bit.ly/1AN5UFY to view a similar question that our friend Laura answered. Feel free to reach out to them 24/7 at 1-866-222-3456 if you should need further assistance.
There are a few ways that you can change your account settings for TD Debit Card Advance if you have an account with TD Bank. If you are enrolled in online banking, you can deactivate your accounts at any time by following the steps below.
1. In the "Accounts" tab, click the account you wish to change.
2. Click the "Account Details" tab.
3. In the "TD Debit Card Advance" section next to "enrolled," click "Change Settings."
4. Choose "Yes" to enroll, or "No" to un-enroll.
5. Click the "Important Information" hyperlink and read the disclosure.
6. Click the checkbox.
7. Click "Save Changes."
Please allow 1-2 business days for the change in enrollment to take effect.
You also have the ability to send us a secured message requesting your overdraft feature to be updated. Please sign into your account and click on Send a secured message; which is underneath the Message Center.
You may speak with one of our Banking Specialists 24/7 at 888-751-9000 and they'll be able to change your settings for overdraft protection as well, after they verify your account information. Another option is to stop by any TD Bank during lobby hours to have one of our Specialists change these settings in person after account verification. Please visit: http://bit.ly/TDStores to find a TD Bank near you.
We hope this helps and please let us know if you have any questions, Wesley!
