Welcome to TD Helps and thank you for sending us your question, Lawrence.
One of the reasons TD Bank requires you to sign a signature card with your account opening is to provide us a basis to verify checks and Visa Debit Card Authorizations.
In order to avoid issues with the processing of checks presented, we recommend you sign the check in the same way you signed your signature card at the time of opening your account. If you wish to change your signature card, we recommend you visit your nearest TD Bank location during lobby hours to have it updated. You may find a list our store locations and hours here: https://go.td.com/1f9DSJR
If we can assist you again, please feel free to write to us anytime! We hope this helps and enjoy your day.
