Thanks for joining us on TD Helps, Stephanie!
Since you've mentioned that your account is closed and in collections, you may be able to cash a check drawn off of a TD account. You are welcome to visit any TD Store during lobby hours to determine if a TD check can be cashed. To take a look at TD Stores near you please visit http://bit.ly/TDStores.
Please know that you will not be able to cash a check that is not drawn off of TD Bank as your account is currently closed. Also keep in mind that there may be a $7 fee applied for the cashing of a TD check as you are no longer considered an account holder.
We do recommend resolving your account. To do so, you are able to visit a TD Store during lobby hours or you can reach out to our Recovery Department directly at 800-354-9769. They are available Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 9:00 pm and Saturday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm for your convenience.
Please understand closed accounts cannot be re-opened regardless of the reasons for closing it; however, you may request to open a new account with us after the overdrawn balance has been paid in full.
We hope to hear from you soon, Stephanie and have a good day.
