Hi Jani! Thanks for coming to TD Helps with your question.
We see you're writing in to us from British Columbia – hello from the U.S.! If your question is in regard to a purchase you made with your TD Canada Trust Access Card, we'd like to help get you in touch with a representative there that can help.
You can start by posing your question to our friends at TD Helps in Canada, by clicking here: https://go.td.com/1QBOF4U. If you'd like to speak with a representative at TD Canada Trust directly, you can call their 24/7 Customer Service line at 866-222-3456. We also want to provide you with a link to all of TD Canada Trust's contact info. You can find that by clicking here: https://go.td.com/2tp27BR.
We're certain they'll be able to answer any question you may have.
If your inquiry is in regard to a purchase made with your U.S. TD Bank Debit Card, we may be able to help. In order to place a stop payment on a debit card transaction, it does need to be a recurring charge rather than a one-time purchase. If this transaction has not yet been authorized, you may be able to close your current debit card and request a new one be sent to you. This would prevent the transaction from being authorized at all. If the transaction has been authorized, but has since dropped off, please know that the purchase could still go through. Should this occur, you may be able to file a Regulation E Dispute in an effort to recover funds. Please give us a call 24/7 at 888-751-9000. We will gladly take a look at your account and offer the best advice for your particular situation.
We hope to hear from you soon, Jani! Take care.
