Welcome to TD Helps, Joan.
You are able to use your starter checks just as you would your regular checks. We recommend speaking with the business or individual that you're issuing a starter check prior to sending payment as they may not accept them.
We offer a few ways to order checks if you have not done so already.
If you already use Online Banking, you can order them right through our site by following the steps below:
• Log in to tdbank.com
• Click on the Customer Service tab
• Under Self Service section click on Order Checks
You can also give us a call at 888-751-9000 or stop by your nearest TD Bank location to order your checks.
Please keep in mind, if you do not currently use online banking and have never ordered checks with TD Bank before you will have to either call us or visit a TD Bank Store to place your first order, for security purposes. To take a look at TD Store locations and their hours please visit http://bit.ly/TDStores.
For additional details on ordering checks please visit http://bit.ly/1g6e9CE.
Thanks for writing in, and have a great day Joan!
