Thank you for coming to TD Helps, Laura. Glad to hear your thinking about joining TD Bank! We’d be happy to provide you all of the details you’ll need to start the process on opening an account with us.
As a student, if you are between the ages of 18-24 years old, you are qualified to open a TD Student Checking account with no minimum daily balance. Once you have a TD Student Checking Account, you can also qualify for a TD Simple Savings Account with no monthly maintenance fee when linked to your Student Checking Account. We offer additional Checking accounts as well. You can visit this link http://bit.ly/1f9fEn9 for more details on the different kinds of TD Bank Checking Accounts.
We have many ways to open an account with us. You’re able to visit our website listed above, call our 24 hour 7 days a week Customer Service Representatives at 1(888)751-9000 or by visiting your local TD Store. If you choose to open your account via TDBank.com or our Customer Service Line, you will need to visit a TD Bank Store to sign your signature card, provide a legal form of identification and a copy of your class schedule. You can also send it back to us once you receive your Welcome Kit in the mail. You can find locations and hours by visiting: http://bit.ly/TDStores.
Changing banks can be challenging. We’ve developed this Easy Switch Checklist to help you navigate the process. Check out http://bit.ly/1nEm90e to see this easy-to-follow guide
We hope this information helps you with moving your account over to TD Bank, Laura. Let us know if you have any further questions. Enjoy your day!
