Welcome to TD Helps, Joyce!
You'll be happy to know that TD Bank offers a Mobile Banking App with Mobile Deposit capabilities!
In order to use Mobile Banking, you will first need to be enrolled in Online Banking. If you haven't done so already, you can sign up here: https://go.td.com/1lU2qfY. You will need your account number, ATM/debit care, Social Security Number and email address.
If you have trouble enrolling, feel free to connect with us 24/7 at 888-751-9000 or by visiting any TD Store. To take a look at TD Stores near you please visit here: http://go.td.com/1f9DSJR.
Once you're signed up online, you can download the Mobile Banking App for your smart phone. The App is available for download here: https://go.td.com/2gkUc4O or by visiting your App Store. Keep in mind that the user name and password for Mobile Banking is the same as Online Banking.
You can make a Mobile Deposit by following the steps below:
1. From the Main Menu of the TD Bank Mobile Banking app, select Mobile Deposit, then Deposit a Check
2. Enter the amount of the check
3. Take a photo of the check using your mobile device
4. Select your account
5. Review and submit your deposit You may wish to note the date on the front of the check and include the word “Deposited”, for your records.
Additionally, you may want to keep this for 14 days to ensure it has cleared your account. You are then welcome to destroy the check.
We also recommend that you take a look at our Personal Deposit Account Agreement here: http://go.td.com/1kb17UQ. On pages 40-44, you can find our Funds Availability Policy along with information about when you'll have access to deposits.
We hope this helps you make your first Mobile Deposit, Joyce, and have a good day!
