Good day, William! Thanks for writing in today.
The answer to your question depends on how your account was originally set up and your relationship to your Checking account. If you are the secondary or even primary owner on this account along with your parent, then you are able to withdraw funds from your Checking account without your parent being present. If you are set up as a minor or beneficiary on this Checking account, then you will not have access to the funds at this moment.
To better assist you, you may visit your local TD Bank Store directly for additional assistance. Please be sure to bring your valid photo I.D. with you. To find out TD Store locations near you, please visit: http://bit.ly/TDStores. You may also contact us 24/7 by dialing 888-751-9000 to speak with a Banking Specialist. Please be aware that if you were listed as minor or beneficiary on this Checking account, they will not be able to assist you over the telephone or at a Store location without your parent being present or on the line with you.
We hope the information provided help. Let us know if you have any further questions. Have a great one.
