Thanks for reaching us on TD Helps, Wanda. We'd be glad to help you make a transfer.
One of our newest features on www.tdbank.com is called Person-to-Person payments. This feature will allow you to send money via text, email or by creating a contact. You’re welcome to check out http://bit.ly/1cz3aim for all of the exciting details.
In order to use this feature, you’ll need to be logged in to Online Banking from the main website. You are able to do so here: http://bit.ly/1eaISlq.
- First, you must enroll in the service. To do so, you would select the tab that says Person-to-Person Payments at the top of your Online Banking screen.
- Then, you will be asked to accept a user agreement, review the fee schedule and confirm your email and phone number. A text and email code will be sent to the mobile number and email address we have on file for you.
- Next we will request you to submit both codes for verification to complete the enrollment process. Once the enrollment is complete you’ll be ready to send the payment and in the next three business days your friend will receive the funds.
If you are trying to send funds to an account of yours outside of TD, you are able to so online using External Transfers.
After logging onto your account, please choose the "Transfers" tab. Then click on "Transfer to Accounts Outside TD Bank." You will then be asked to accept a user agreement and review the fee schedule.
Please know that Person-to-Person Payments and External Transfers are for transfers within the U.S. only.
When sending a Person-to-Person Payment or an External Transfer, you will have two delivery options, three day or next day delivery. The next day delivery option is not available for Savings accounts. To qualify for the next day delivery option, you must wait 90 days from your first successful 3-day transfer and must not have had any transactions that overdrew your account in the past 90 days. Please note; fees may apply for External Transfer service. For the Transfers Terms and Conditions please see: http://bit.ly/1pADlWD, and for more information on the fee schedule, please take a look here: http://bit.ly/1cTejgt.
If you are not enrolled for Online Banking, you are able to sign up here: http://bit.ly/1lU2qfY. Keep in mind that you will need your account number, Social Security Number, ATM/Visa Debit Card Number and email address to enroll.
You are able to call us 24/7 by dialing 888-751-9000 for assistance if you have any trouble signing up for Online Banking. After account verification, our Representatives will be happy to assist you. Similarly, you are able to visit a TD Store for assistance. To take a look at our Store locations and their hours please visit http://bit.ly/TDStores.
We hope this helps, Wanda and have a good day.
