Great question, Codsmore and thank you for bringing it to TD Helps.
We are happy to say that our Person-to-Person Payments service may best fit your needs. It will allow you to transfer funds online from your TD Bank account into another individual's financial institution within U.S., including another TD Customer's account.
Please know that in order to be eligible to use the Person-to-Person Payments service, one must have a United States address, a unique United States phone number, a United States issued Social Security number and a valid unique email address. You must also be enrolled for Online Banking and be using a TD Bank personal Checking or Money Market account for the transfer. If you have met all the requirements listed above and are also enrolled for online banking, you’ll need to be logged in to Online Banking from herehttp://bit.ly/1eaISlq in order to initiate a Person-to-Person Payment:
- First, you must enroll in the service. To do so, you would select the tab that says Person-to-Person payments at the top of your Online Banking screen – Then, you will be asked to accept a user agreement, review the fee schedule and confirm your email and phone number. A text and email code will be sent to the mobile number and email address we have on file for you. – Next we will request you to submit both codes for verification to complete the enrollment process.
Just in case that you are not currently enrolled for Online Banking and wish to enroll your Personal accounts online, you may use our self-service option by visitinghttp://bit.ly/1lU2qfY to begin the enrollment process.
