Thanks for joining us here at TD Helps, Theresa.
There are two different types of transfers you can make; a wire transfer or a Person-to-Person transfer through TD Bank Online Banking.
A wire transfer can be done at any local TD bank Store. Please visit http://bit.ly/TDStores for hours and locations near you. To initiate a wire to another domestic financial institution, you will need the name, address and ABA routing number of the receiving bank, the name of the account to be credited, the beneficiary address, and the account number. Also check with the other financial institution to make sure there is no additional information required. With wire transfers you can even send money to someone outside the U.S. All you need to send an international wire is:
- The full name, address, including city, state/province, and country and account number of the person/business (for most Euro Zone countries you may need an, IBAN, or International Banking Account Number you are sending money).
- The full name and address, including city, state/province and country of the financial institution receiving the funds.
- The amount and currency of the transfer.
Transfers happen quickly and securely, depending on the currency you are sending. Some transactions may take longer than others. Check out http://bit.ly/1cTejgt for information on any fees associated with wire transfers.
To use the Person-to-Person transfer feature, you must be enrolled in Online Banking. If you have not enrolled yourself, you can do so for free here: http://bit.ly/1lU2qfY. You will need your Social Security number, your TD Bank ATM/Visa Debit Card, your account number, and your e-mail address. If you do not have a debit or ATM card, please call our 24/7 Banking Specialists at 1-888-751-9000 to enroll. Once you’ve enrolled for Online Banking, select the “Person-to-Person” tab to enroll for this specific feature. For the Terms and Conditions in addition to information on the payment methods and amounts, please check http://bit.ly/1pADlWD.
Thanks again for writing in, Theresa. Let us know if you have any other questions and have a wonderful day!
