I just opened an account on-line a week ago. I am not near a TD Bank. Can I transfer into my TD Bank checking account from my Wellsfargo Savings Account?

That's a great question, LeeAnne, and we're glad you came by on Helps.
Here at TD Bank, we offer a service called External Transfers. This feature allows you to easily transfer between your account (s) at TD Bank, and any account (s) that you may have at an outside financial institution.
To get started with using this service, you must first be enrolled in online banking. If you haven't already, you may enroll now here: https://go.td.com/1lU2qfY. For the enrollment process, you will need to have your account number, debit/ATM card number, and Social Security Number handy. If you need any help enrolling, or do not have the required information to enroll online, feel free to call us 24/7 at 888-751-9000.
Once you have enrolled in online banking, you may click here: https://go.td.com/1eaISlq to log in. You will see a 'Transfers' tab, which you may click on. Then, you may click on 'Transfer to accounts outside of TD Bank'. You will then be asked to accept a user agreement and review the fee schedule. Once the enrollment is completed, you may continue to schedule a transfer by adding your account at a different institution. To do so, select 'Add a New Account'. You will then be prompted to select the type of account followed by the account and routing numbers. Once you enter the required fields, the transfer service will then display whether or not you can make an immediate transfer. In some cases, a trial deposit is initiated at the receiving institution for verification purposes.
