If you are currently enrolled for online banking, you may be eligible to send money to your family member by signing up for Person-to-Person Payment service. In order to be eligible for using this service, you must have a TD Bank Personal Checking or Money Market account, a unique United States phone number, a United States issued Social Security Number, and a valid unique e-Mail address. This service will allow you to send money to any individual's account at any Financial Institution within the United States via text, email or by creating a contact. To initiate a Person-to-Person payment, you’ll need to be logged in to Online Banking from here http://bit.ly/1eaISlq.
- First, you must enroll in the service. To do so, you would select the tab that says Person-to-Person payments at the top of your Online Banking screen.
- Then, you will be asked to accept a user agreement, review the fee schedule and confirm your email and phone number. A text and email code will be sent to the mobile number and email address we have on file for you.
- Next we will request you to submit both codes for verification to complete the enrollment process. Once the enrollment is complete you’ll be ready to send the payment and in the next three business days the funds will be received.

If you are not currently enrolled for online banking and wish to enroll for online banking for your Personal Checking or Money Market account, you may use our self-service option by visiting http://bit.ly/1lU2qfY to begin the enrollment process. If you do not have the required information to set up for Online Banking or you need assistance enrolling, you may contact us 24/7 at 1-888-751-9000 to speak with a Banking Specialist. Upon proper account verification, we would be happy to help get you started.
If Person-to-Person Payment is not an option for you, you may wish to visit your local TD Bank Store to initiate a domestic outgoing wire transfer. For hours and locations near you please take a look at: http://bit.ly/TDStores. Once at the Store, you will need to provide the name, address and ABA (routing) number of the receiving bank, the name of the account to be credited, the beneficiary address and the account number. We utilize the services of correspondent and/or intermediary banks to transfer funds to banks overseas. These banks might charge a fee for their services, and the correspondent and/or intermediary bank might deduct these fees from the wire transfer amount. Please note that we do not process or disburse funds from wire transfers received designated Pay Upon Proper Identification (PUPID) and return them to the sender.
