Hello my name is Petra, and I am currently having difficulties using your online banking system. I worked in the States around 4 months and I still got money left on my account, however I am currently living in Hungary, and I would like to transfer the leftover money from my TD bank account to my Hungarian account. Please help me solve that issue with online banking because I cannot visit any of your TD stores to ask for personal help. Thanks in advance!

Hey Petra, thanks for joining us this morning.
Currently, TD Online Banking does not offer the ability to transfer funds internationally online. We do apologize for any inconveniences this may cause. There are other options available to you and we'd be happy to go over them with you.
A great way to use up any remaining checks from your TD Bank account is to write a check to yourself or to cash for your remaining balance; which you may then deposit it into your account at your other financial institution. We recommend checking with your other financial institution for their check clearing process.
A quick option is to withdraw funds from your TD Bank account through any ATM and then you can deposit the funds into your account at your other financial institution. By using this option to transfer your funds, there may be limits and fees that apply. Please check out: http://bit.ly/1cTejgt for more details.
You may also go to your other financial institution and make a cash advance from your account using your TD Bank Visa Debit Card. Then you can deposit your funds into your account at your other financial institution. You may withdrawal a daily limit of up to $5,000 through the Visa Cash Advance.
Once you have a zero balance in your account, you can contact our 24/7 Customer Service line from Hungary at 856-751-9000 or 215-569-0518 from a landline with operator assistance. If you chose to send a secured message, please sign into your online account and click on the "Customer Service" tab and then select "Send A Message."
You can also opt to close your account by mail. You may request to close your account and any available money will be sent to you by check. You can mail a request with the following instructions:
▪Your account number(s)
▪Your request to close the account(s)
▪Your current address
For your security, please have the letter notarized. It can then be mailed to:
TD Bank, N.A
P.O. Box 1377
Additionally, we recommend checking with the other financial institution to ensure no other additional information is required as well.
We hope this helps and please let us know if you have any other questions.
