It's great to have you here on TD Helps, Christine! We will be happy to provide you with the information needed.
One of our newest online features is External Transfers and Person-to-Person Payments. This feature will allow you to send money to your family or friends via text, email or external bank. You’re welcome to check out http://bit.ly/1pADlWD for all of the exciting details.
In order to be eligible for using the Popmoney and External Transfer service, you must have a TD Bank personal Checking account, a unique United States phone number, a United States issued Social Security Number, and a valid unique e-mail address.
To initiate a Person-to-Person payment, you’ll need to be logged in to Online Banking from the main website. First, you must enroll in the service. To do so, you would select the tab that says Person-to-Person payments at the top of your Online Banking screen.
Our External Transfer Service is used for transfers sent to your other accounts that you have with other banking institutions. To enroll in this service simply select the Transfers tab upon logging into online then Transfer to Accounts Outside of TD.
If you are not currently enrolled for Online Banking and wish to enroll, you may use our self-service option by visiting http://bit.ly/1lU2qfY to begin the enrollment process. In order to do so, you will need your account number, TD Bank ATM/Debit Card, your Social Security Number and your email address.
If you do not have the required information to set up for Online Banking or you need assistance enrolling, you may contact us 24/7 at 1-800-493-7562 to speak with a Digital Banking Specialist. Upon proper account verification, we would be happy to help get you started.
For any fees associated with transfers, please take a look here: http://bit.ly/1cTejgt.
