Great question, Stephen, we'd be happy to help!
Since you've mentioned that you're trying to send funds to other TD account holders, you can use the Person-to-Person feature via your Online Banking! This awesome feature allows you to send other people money via text or email after you sign up and create a contact. For more information on this service, we invite you to take a look here: http://bit.ly/1cz3aim.
If you are not currently enrolled in Online Banking, you can do so here: http://bit.ly/1lU2qfY. You will need to have your account number, ATM/Debit Card number, Social Security number and email address. If you encounter any problems while enrolling for Online Banking, you can call us directly for assistance. Our Digital Banking Specialists are available 24/7 to help with all your Online Banking needs! You can also visit a TD Store during lobby hours for help enrolling too. For lobby hours and locations near you please visit: http://bit.ly/TDStores.
Once you've enrolled for Online Banking, take a look at the "Person-to-Person" tab to enroll for this transfer service. To use this feature, you must have a US address, cell phone number, a US Social Security number and a valid email address. Transfers cannot be made outside of the US using this feature and all transfers will be in US dollars. If you'd like to take a look at the Terms and Conditions for more information, take a look here: http://bit.ly/1pADlWD.
In order to add a contact so you can start making transfers, you will first have to select "Add a New Contact" which is located after you select the "Contacts" link shown under the "PopMoney" logo. You will then be directed to a page that will require information about the person you are sending a transfer to such as: who you are sending the transfer to (first and last name), whether you are sending the transfer to an email, mobile phone or, bank account (when you select bank account you will need the account number and routing number of the recipient). Please remember to select "Save". After your contact(s) has/have been added, you can start sending money by selecting the "Send Money" tab.
To start, please fill in the neccassary fields required then select "Continue". By selecting "Continue," Online Banking will then direct you to a confirmation page. We recommend reading this page carefully to ensure all the information entered is correct. At the top of the screen, the transfer page even lets you know when your recipient will receive the transfer. Once you select "Send Payment," you will have completed the transaction. Again, if you need any help with making the transfer or enrolling for Person-to-Person transfers you may call our Digital Banking Specialists for help.
We hope this helps, Stephen and if you have any other questions, please let us know!
