Hey Phil, thanks for making a stop at TD Helps.
If your wife is looking to transfer her IRA out of TD Bank, she will actually need to connect with the Financial Institution she is looking to transfer her IRA into. They will likely have a formal process to do this and they should provide a 'Transfer Request' form. Once the form has been filled, that Financial Institution, it can then be mailed to us to complete at the following address:
TD Bank, NA
ATTN IRA Department
151 Corley Mills Road
Lexington, SC 29072
Or, it can be faxed to our IRA Team at 803-996-7334. Please send it ATTN TO: IRA Department
We're here to answer any further questions you have about our IRAs. Feel free to call our IRA Department at 800-231-8193, Option 4 available Monday through Friday, 8:00 am - 6:00 pm EST, and Saturdays, 9:00 am - 1:30 pm EST.
We hope this helps. Have a good one.
