I have a simple savings account that I would like to turn into a money market account to take advantage of higher interest rates. Is this possible?

Welcome to the TD Helps Community, Becca. We'll be sure to provide you with some helpful information today.
Although our Money Market accounts are actually Savings accounts, they can be seen as a Checking account due to the ability of writing checks. For this reason, we do apologize, however; you will not be able to switch your Savings account to a Money Market account. For more information on our Money Market account, please take a look here: https://go.td.com/2ePeTE8.
You are welcome to open a Money Market account with TD Bank, if you wish, and we'd be happy to go over your options. You may view the different types of Money Market accounts we offer by taking a look here: https://go.td.com/2jNvN6b
Once you're ready, to open your selected Money Market account, you may open the account online by clicking on the "Open Account" box located beneath each account listed. You can also contact us directly at 888-751-9000. We are available 24/7 and after account verification, we'd be more than happy to help! If you prefer, you can also visit us during lobby hours at any TD Store to open your new account. You can locate a TD Store near you by clicking here: https://go.td.com/1f9DSJR.
We hope this information helps, and please take care.
