I know I can make withdrawals from TD Canada ATMs for no extra charge, but am I able to use my US TD Debit card to make a purchase in Canada? are there any fees associated?

We would like to take this opportunity to inform you that while you are in Canada, you may use any TD Canada Trust ATMs at no surcharges or fees. That's right – TD Bank Customers have access to thousands of free TD Canada Trust ATMs all over Canada!
As you'll be traveling to Canada, please contact our 24/7 Banking Specialists at 888-751-9000 to have a Travel Notification on your accounts, or you can do so in person at a local TD Bank Store, during lobby hours. To take a look at TD Stores and their hours please visit http://bit.ly/TDStores.
If you are enrolled in Online Banking, you may send a secure message using www.tdbank.com. To send a secure message you m ust first logon to your TD Bank online profile. You can do so by clicking here: http://bit.ly/1eaISlq. On the left hand side, you should see an option to "Send a secure message" located in the “Message Center."
We also want to make sure your trip is as stress-free as it can be, and we'd like to share with you that cards bearing the Visa logo are accepted at locations all over the world with no additional cost.
