Hi Yenis, thanks for visiting TD Helps! We appreciate your interest in a new account with us and if you've already opened the account, welcome to TD Bank!
If your account was established at a TD Bank store, you can begin using it right after your first deposit.
If your account was established by phone, just a few simple steps are required in order to use the account. It will be necessary to submit your completed signature card to the Bank. This will be mailed to you at the address you provided during the account opening process, or you may also visit any local TD Bank store to sign this form. Please see http://bit.ly/TDStores to find a convenient Store location near you. And if you have not made a deposit to the account yet, it can also be made at that time. Once your signature card and initial deposit are completed, your account can be accessed.
If your account was established online, your signature was captured electronically and a signature card is not required. Your opening deposit online will become available in approximately 3 business days after account opening. If the initial deposit wasn't made online, you can visit any TD Bank store location to make the deposit and begin using your account.
Please keep in mind that any deposits made to your new account may not be immediately available for withdrawal. For more information on funds availability and deposits that may be applied for longer delays, please take a look here at our Personal Deposit Account Agreement: http://bit.ly/1kb17UQ on pages 35 -38.
Thanks for your question, Yenis and we hope this helps! We'll be here if you have any additional questions, and enjoy your evening.
