My daughter is traveling to Spain with her high school. Will she be able to access her account with her ATM in Spain? Are there any international fees associated with transactions?

Thank you for joining us today, Victoria. We'd be happy to help.
We'd like to let you know that TD Debit Cards can be used anywhere Visa is accepted worldwide. When traveling, you can make an ATM withdrawal from any machine that displays the VISA or NYCE logo. We encourage you to check out our current fee schedule, http://bit.ly/1cTejgt, as it outlines any applicable fees that may be assessed when you use your Debit Card out of the country. If you are unable to find an ATM that is compatible, with the TD Bank Debit Card, it may be used to obtain a VISA Cash Advance.
As you've mentioned that your daughter is travelling to Spain, we recommend that she places a Travel Notification on her account prior to her trip. She can add a Travel Notification by calling our 24/7 Customer Service Line at 888-751-9000. After account verification, our Specialists would be happy to help place a Travel Notification on her account. Similarly, she is able to visit a TD Bank Store. To take a look at TD Stores near you and their hours, please visit http://bit.ly/TDStores.
If she is enrolled in Online Banking, another option to notify us of your travels is to send a secure message using www.tdbank.com. To send a secure message she must first login to her TD Bank online profile. She can do so by clicking here: http://bit.ly/1eaISlq. On the left hand side, she'll see an option to "Send a secure message" located in the “Message Center.” In her message, please have her include the dates and destination(s) she will be traveling.
If she is not enrolled for Online Banking, she can do so for free here: http://bit.ly/1lU2qfY. She will need her Social Security Number, TD Bank ATM/Visa Debit Card, her account number and e-mail address. Once she has successfully enrolled, she will have immediate access to her account(s).
By placing a Travel Notification, this will help us be aware if we see foreign transactions on her account. Also, please be informed that for the account's protection we will continue to monitor her card activity even when a notification is set.
We also recommend carrying more than one method of payment while traveling, just in case she encounter any acceptance issues. For more travel tips while overseas, please visit http://bit.ly/1gDrDYu. You may also want to review our international travel tips frequently asked questions by clicking here: http://bit.ly/1ltwDDc.
While travelling if your daughter needs to reach us, she may do so by dialing (856)-751-9000. Additionally, she can call collect from a landline at (215)-569-0518.
We hope this helps, Victoria and have a good day.
