We understand your concern, Paola. We'd be glad to help.
We'd like to share that your TD Visa Debit Card is convenient, secure and rewarding- so you can shop and bank with confidence. You can use your debit card at millions of locations that accept VISA across the globe.
It is always recommended to place a Travel Notification on your account prior to traveling to limit acceptance issues while overseas.
To do so, you are able to call us 24/7 by dialing 888-751-9000. After account verification, our Specialists will be happy to assist you in adding a Travel Notification to your account. Similarly, you are able to visit any TD Store during lobby hours to place a Travel Notification. To take a look at Store locations and their hours please visit http://bit.ly/TDStores.
You may also send us a Secure Message through your Online Banking by logging in here: http://bit.ly/1eaISlq. On the left hand side, you should see an option to "Send a secure message" located in the “Message Center."
By placing a Travel Notification, this will help us be aware if we see foreign transactions on your account. For more travel tips while overseas, please visithttp://bit.ly/1gDrDYu. You may also want to review our international travel tips frequently asked questions by clicking here: http://bit.ly/1ltwDDc. Please Note: When using a non-TD ATM overseas, a non-TD ATM fee may be applied. This includes balance inquiries as well as withdrawals. However, this fee may be reimbursed at the end of your statement cycle if you have a qualifying account. To take a look at our Fee Schedule and the accounts that qualify to receive a fee reimbursement, please visit here: http://bit.ly/1cTejgt. Fees for non-TD ATM withdrawals are the only applicable fees that would be applied to your account by TD Bank when using your TD Bank Visa Debit card.
If you need to reach us while overseas, you can contact us 24/7 from outside the United States at 1-856-751-9000, or call us collect with operator assistance from a land line phone by asking the operator to dial 1-215-569-0518.
We hope this information helps, Paola and have a good day.
