I want to send money to my friend in Salinas, Puerto Rico. Can I use the Person to Person feature, or do I have to send the money via Wire instead?

This is a great question, and we'll be more than happy to help.
We'd first like to take a moment to explain that our Send Money feature allows any of our Customers to send money to anyone within any of the 50 States here in the U.S. As you mentioned that you would like to transfer funds to your friend in Puerto Rico, we apologize for any inconvenience as this feature is not available for Puerto Rico at this time. However, we do have a couple other options for you, and we'll be more than happy to go over these options with you!
First, here at TD Bank, we offer a free Bill Pay service, which can be used to send funds to any person or company. While we understand that you may not be paying a bill, by using this service, you'll be able to enter in all your friends information, and after doing so, we will create a check, and mail it to their address. If you believe that this is something you'd like to take advantage of, you'll first want to log into your Online Banking, which you may do from here: https://go.td.com/1eaISlq. If you haven't yet signed up for Online Banking, don't worry! This can be completed from here: https://go.td.com/1lU2qfY. To enroll in Online Banking, you will need your account number, debit card number, Social Security Number, and a valid email address.
Once you're able to successfully log into your Online Banking, to access our Bill Pay feature, you'll want to click on the 'Bill Pay' tab, which you can find towards the top of your screen. If you have never used our Bill Pay feature before, you may need to accept some of our terms and agreements, and once this has been completed, you'll be ready to start entering in your friend's information. First, as you won't be paying a bill, under the 'Search our Network' bar, you'll want to type in their name, then, select 'Person'. From here, you'll simply want to enter in all the required information, including their full name, their address, phone number, and even their email address, if you'd like. Finally, you'll want to choose the amount you would like to send, and when.
