Good afternoon and thanks for joining us on TD Helps, Danielle! There are a couple of options to consider for your transfer and we'll be glad to review them.
First, we'd like to let you know that if you were attempting to complete a direct deposit and it didn't work, you may wish to try again with the correct encoding information. In order to correctly process a direct deposit (which is an ACH transfer) it is necessary to use the correct routing number, account number, and properly encode the account as either a checking or a savings account. Please ensure that you know which type of account will receive the deposit to have the correct information.
If you do prefer to complete a wire transfer, we'll be glad to assist with this as well. From your message, it sounds as though you'd like to send a wire transfer from your TD Bank account to another banking institution within the US. If this is the case, we recommend that you request the wiring instructions from the financial institution to which you are sending the funds. Then you may visit your nearest TD Bank Store to send a wire. For TD Stores near you, please visit http://bit.ly/TDStores.
Just in case you are receiving the wire to your TD Bank account, please keep in mind that the routing number assigned to your deposit accounts will differ from the routing number you'll need for a wire. For any wire transfer sent in US Dollars including domestic wires, you should provide the sending bank with the following:
-Wire to: TD Bank, N.A Wilmington, Delaware
-ABA (Routing)#: 0311-0126-6
-Credit to: Your Account Title, Your Address, Your Account Number
You should expect to receive the funds within three to five business days. We will post all incoming wires on the banking day they are received. International wire transfers sent by US Dollars can be received until 6:30 PM EST. International wire transfers sent by US Dollars can be received until 6:30 PM EST, or if the incoming wire is Foreign Currency it can be received until 3:30 PM EST.
Please note that fees may apply; you can find the details in our Fee Schedule at the following link: http://bit.ly/1cTejgt. Also, at this time we may not process incoming Pay upon Proper Identification (PUPID) wires and will return them to the sender.
For any questions you may have at all, feel free to give us a call! We're here 24/7 for you and can be reached at 888-751-9000, or stop in at any TD Bank Store using our location finder above.
Hope this clears it up for you, Danielle! Take care and have a fantastic Sunday.
