I would like to send a wire transfer from my passbook savings book to pay a bill. Can I transfer from a passbook to another bank?

Thanks for stopping by TD Helps, Jo-Ann! We'll provide the information you need.
Although electronic debits and wire transfers cannot be processed from a Passbook Account; you have the option of purchasing a Money Order or, depending on the amount, an Official Check.
The difference between the two depends on the amount of your bill. A Money Order for any amount up to $1,000 and an Official Check can be purchased for any amount. Please note, purchasing an official check is subject to availability due to the amount requested, therefore we recommend contacting your local TD Bank prior to visiting. You can purchase these items at any TD Store near you. For TD Store phone numbers, locations and hours please visit: http://bit.ly/TDStores. We also invite you to take a look here for more information on the fee for official checks take a look here http://bit.ly/1cTejgt
Once you purchased the necessary item, you can then mail the check in for payment.
We hope this helps and let us know if you any questions, Jo-Ann!
