That's a great question, Maria and we'll be happy to help!
If you're looking to transfer funds from your TD US account to somebody else's account at TD Canada Trust, you may send a wire transfer. In order to send an Outgoing International Wire Transfer, please visit any TD Bank Store during lobby hours. For a listing of TD Bank Stores and hours, please visit: http://bit.ly/TDStores.
Prior to arriving at the Store, you'll need the full name and address, including City, State/Province, Country, and account number of the person/business you are sending money to (and for Euro Zone countries, please obtain the IBAN – International Banking Account Number). Please also provide the full name and address, including City, State/Province of the TD Canada Trust receiving the funds, as well as the amount and currency type of the transfer.
Please review additional information on sending international wires at http://bit.ly/1oowsYN. When you are ready to send your international wire transfer, you will need to provide TD Canada Trust with our SWIFT address, which is NRTHUS33XXX, as well as obtain their SWIFT address.
Keep in mind that wire transfer fees may apply. For our current Fee Schedule please see here: http://bit.ly/1cTejgt. Please note that we do not process or disburse funds from wire transfers received designated Pay Upon Proper Identification (PUPID) and return them to the sender.
If you're happen to be transferring from your TD US account to a TD Canada Trust account that has your name on it, rather than completing a wire transfer, you may use our Cross Border Banking feature to transfer funds, for free! Whenever you'd like to make a transfer, please feel free to speak with a Representative from our TD Cross Border Banking Support Line 24/7 at 877-700-2913. With this feature, you are able to do your banking without having to visit a TD Store! For more information, please take a look here: http://bit.ly/1ienPN4.
Thanks for stopping by today, Maria and please let us know if you have any other questions.
