We're sorry to hear about your parent, DeAnna, and we'd be glad to help.
You may be able to make a withdraw from your account even with no funds available in your account, you're enrolled in the discretionary overdraft service we offer called TD Debit Card Advance.
Please review the specifics here: https://go.td.com/2exVmIX.
If you need to update your enrollment status, you are able to do so in a few ways. Our Specialists over the phone at 888-751-9000 or at your local TD Store would be glad to make this update for your account. Check out TD Stores in your neighborhood here: http://go.td.com/1f9DSJR.
Alternatively, you're able to change this status using online access. For Online Banking, you'll need to first sign in here: http://go.td.com/1eaISlq. Once logged in, you can update your enrollment by selecting the Customer Service tab.
With Mobile Banking, select the Accounts option followed by the checking account associated with your debit card. Next, review the Details tab. Toward the bottom of this page you will be able to change your TD Debit Card Advance enrollment status.
After you change the status of this feature, please know that it will take one business day to take effect. Please understand that as this is a discretionary service, we cannot guarantee that a further overdraft of your account will be approved. Please also review the fee schedule here: https://go.td.com/2kFZ5mK as fees can apply for the use of this service.
If you have any questions, feel free to write back to us here or use the contact methods we mention above!
We hope this information helps, DeAnna. Have a good day!
