Thanks for your question, Randal! We'd be glad to discuss the different balances you've noticed.
Your 'account balance' or 'ledger balance' is the true amount of funds in an account at the start of the business day. After all pending transactions are deducted from your 'account/ledger balance', your 'available balance' is the amount of funds that are available for use at the time. Please know that this does not include future payments or items yet to be deducted as mentioned below.
Please keep these things in mind:
-Your Available Balance is reduced by any pending debit card transactions (purchases and ATM withdrawals), and includes any deposited funds that have been made available.
-Your Available Balance does not reflect checks that you have written that have not yet cleared, or payments made in Bill Pay by laser draft (paper check) that have not yet cleared.
-Your Available Balance also does not include electronic payments in Bill Pay that have not yet been paid, or debit card transactions that have not yet been processed by the vendor for payment.
-If you exceed your available balance, you may incur an overdraft fee.

Based on your question, it does not sound as though you have funds available for transactions at this time.
