Thank you for visiting us on TD Helps, Ben!
Generally speaking, there is a required daily minimum balance to avoid a monthly maintenance fee on individual Checking and Savings accounts. You'd be glad to know you may link eligible accounts to meet a minimum daily balance requirement.
For more information on the variety of accounts we offer, we encourage you to take a look at the following links: to view and compare our personal Checking accounts by taking a look here: http://bit.ly/1aDaRqd or check out our Checking Selector Tool http://bit.ly/1vW1xnU for help with selecting a Checking account that is the best fit you. To view and compare personal savings account products, click on http://bit.ly/1pJT9I9 , or if you prefer, we also have a Savings Selector Tool http://bit.ly/1vW1DvM ;which can help you choose the best savings account for your needs.
Once you decide on the account(s) type that best suits your needs, you can open the account via online, telephone or at any TD Bank location during lobby hours. To open the account via online, click on the "Open Account" button below the account you choose and fill in the required fields. You can open an account via telephone 24/7 by calling our Customer Service line at 888-751-9000 and one of our Banking Specialists can open the account for you. Please visit: http://bit.ly/TDStores to find TD Bank near you, if you choose to visit a Store.
We're happy to provide an example of a product that provides a feature in combining its balance with another account. Please kindly keep in mind that in a TD Relationship Checking account, the maintenance fees will be waived on one additional Checking account and one additional Savings account. Feel free to click here: http://bit.ly/1m2Hll5 for more details.
Please note that a TD Business Premier Checking account also offers a combined balance to avoid a monthly fee. Please feel free to visit here: http://bit.ly/1hf1oVJ for all the exciting details.
We hope you find our answer helpful and please don't hesitate to return to TD Helps if you have any further questions.
