Welcome to the TD Helps community, Sean.
We understand how important it is to have your funds go into the account of your choice and would be glad to help steer you in the right direction.
To switch the account in which you receive your direct deposit, we would highly recommend you contact your employer to discuss this further. To set up direct deposit, you will need to provide the depositor your name as it appears on your account, your full account number along with the routing number, and the correct account type (checking or savings). You may also provide the depositor a voided check (for a checking account); a voided check is a personal check from your account with the word "VOID "written over the check.
If you prefer, you may also use our pre-filled direct deposit authorization form here: http://bit.ly/1sSvhT6.
If you need assistance or have any further questions, please feel free to call us at 888-751-9000. We are available 24/7 and would be happy top help! You may also visit your local TD Store for additional help here: http://bit.ly/TDStores.
Hope you find this helpful and have a nice day.
