If yes, what is the flat fee to wire money to the UK and is there a maximum amount as to how much they can wire? Thank you!

Thanks for joining us here at TD Helps, George. We'd be glad to help provide details regarding your inquiry.
As you mentioned you have a joint account, the other signer can visit any TD Store during lobby hours to initiate an outgoing International Wire Transfer. For Store locations, please visit: http://bit.ly/TDStores. There are no limits to the amount one wishes to send via wire transfer as long as the funds are available in the account.
To send an international wire transfer, we would need the following information:
· The full name, address, including city, state/province, country and account number of the person/business (for Euro Zone countries – IBAN – International Banking Account Number) you are sending money to
· The full name and address, including city, state/province and country of the financial institution receiving the funds
· The amount and currency of the transfer
Keep in mind also that depending on the currency you are sending, some transactions may take longer than others. You may want to contact the other Financial Institution to determine what information they require to receive the wire. Please see the link listed below for all applicable fees that may apply.
Please also note that transfer fees may apply, for our fee schedule follow this link: http://bit.ly/1cTejgt. We would also recommend checking with your Financial Institution in the UK to ensure no other additional information is required as well as to obtain information regarding any additional fees for their services. And please note that we do not process or disburse funds from wire transfers received designated Pay Upon Proper Identification (PUPID) and return them to the sender.
We hope this was helpful, George. Let us know if you need anything else.
