Hey there Sharmaine,
Thanks for getting in touch with us today.
Kindly keep in mind that TD Bank does not recommend providing your account or card number to anyone not listed on your TD Bank account. With that being said, we would recommend that you get in touch with the TD Bank Store your depositor intends to use, to be sure that this will work as you intend. Feel free to find a listing of our Stores, including contact info and lobby hours, here: http://bit.ly/TDStores.
As another idea, Sharmaine, as our Customer, another way you can have funds deposited to your account is by using Person-to-Person transfers via Online Banking. You actually have the ability to request funds from other people by using the service. To start, you must first be logged into your online account. Next, you would then select the "Person-to-Person Payments" tab and then select "Request Money." You would then fill out the required fields and select "Next." A confirmation screen will appear. Be sure to confirm that the information is correct. Once you do, select "Send Request." The sender will then receive a text or an email with your request for funds. After the person sending you funds completes your request, the funds will take 2-3 business days to reach your account. Please note that there may be fees for the use of this service and we invite you to take a look at our Fee Schedule here: http://bit.ly/1cTejgt. For assistance in getting set up for this service or using it, feel free to reach out to our Tech Support Specialists 24/7 at 800-493-7562.
If your depositor is also a TD Customer, they can use this service to initiate a transfer and send funds to you directly (you wouldn't have to request the money). If not, they could also consult with their bank to see if they offer a similar service.
If you have any questions at all, Sharmaine, please feel free to reach a Specialist anytime at 888-751-9000, 24/7, or you can reply here to chat again.
Thanks again for the visit and we hope you have a great holiday!
