Thank you for reaching out to us on TD Helps, Maria!
Though we do not recommend sharing your account number, someone else can bring a deposit to a TD location on your behalf. To find the closest Store and their hours, please use our Store locator here: http://bit.ly/TDStores. We do recommend writing on the back of the check "For Deposit Only" before it's brought in. Also, we want to make sure that the deposit is applied to the correct account, so please provide whoever is bringing the check in with your full name and the last 4 digits of the account number for verification.
TD Visa Debit Cards are linked to checking accounts. You may change your ATM only card to a Debit Card if the linked account in question is a checking account. At this time, this change can only be made by the account holder. Don't worry though. There are ways to make this change without leaving your house!
You can call us 24/7 by dialing 888-751-9000. Our Representatives will be happy to help you make this change after account verification and your new card will be mailed to the address we have on file.
You also have the option of sending us a secure message via your TD Bank Online Banking. To do this, you must first be enrolled for Online Banking. If you have not enrolled, you can do so for free by following this link: http://bit.ly/1lU2qfY. You will need your account number, Social Security number, your email address and your current TD ATM/Debit card. If you run into any problems enrolling, please call us 24/7 at the number mentioned above for assistance. After you've successfully enrolled, to send secure messages please select the "Customer Service" tab and under "Message Center" please click on the "Send a Message" link. For this particular request, please select the "General Customer Service" for the subject line. In the "Comments/Requests" field, please type in your request. You will receive your new TD ATM/Visa Debit card in the mail and it may take up to 7-10 business days depending on the post office.
We hope this helps, Maria and if you have any other questions, let us know.
